Chilean Banana Smoothie

This powerhouse smoothie gets you going every time!  I remember when my mom made me this smoothie as a kid just before a big test and feeling energized for the rest of the day.  

It is true what they say about breakfast being one of the most meals and if you think about it, it makes total sense!  But most of us don't have the time or the energy to fix a big meal with all the essentials.  I know that there are days that I didn't prepare my meal or the kids are running late and breakfast for me just got bumped.  But here is a really simple and fast way to build up that protein that will give you energy and fill your belly with some yummy goodness! 

 

Ingredients:

Banana

Coconut Milk or you could substitute for 2% milk 1/2 cup

Peanut Butter 1 teaspoon

Directions:

Cut up bananas to fit into the blender.  Add the 1/2 cup of Coconut Milk, and the teaspoon of Peanut Butter and blend!
